Meet Gabriela Sofia
Founder of Ayani Healing | Facilitator of Transformation | Reiki Practitioner | Intuitive & Channel
Perhaps her greatest teachers, however, have been life, loss, and transformation. Gabriela Sofia has experienced profound and compounded grief throughout her life, including the devastating loss of her beloved son, Carlos. These experiences transformed her understanding of healing and deepened her commitment to helping others move through pain without spiritually bypassing it.
Through Ayani Healing, she creates space for those who are ready to move beyond simply coping and into deeper transformation—integrating the emotional, physical, spiritual, and human dimensions of their lives.
Gabriela Sofia believes that healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about remembering who you are beneath the layers of survival, conditioning, grief, and fear.
Breakthrough is not the finish line. It is an invitation to integrate, embody, and live differently.

If You Give a Spider a Fly
If You Give a Spider a Fly is more than a children's book — it's a testament to imagination, love, and the enduring legacy of a young boy whose creativity continues to inspire others. It was originally written and illustrated by Gabriela's son, Carlos Diaz, as a second-grade school project, and gifted to her as the only copy.
After Carlos unexpectedly passed away in 2021, Gabriela rediscovered the book among his belongings. Republishing his work — not only to preserve his imagination, but to let his light keep touching children and families — became one of the most meaningful ways she has chosen to turn pain into purpose.
In keeping with Ayani Healing's mission, proceeds from every book sold help fund scholarships for those unable to afford healing services — extending Carlos's legacy one book, one child, and one healing journey at a time.
Testimonies of Transformation
In their own words
"Hi, my name is Sean. I am a U.S. Army veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. I dedicated over 15 years to the Army before being medically retired in 2013 after enduring significant physical injuries, depression, anxiety, substance use challenges, and PTSD.
In 2015, I found sobriety and began my healing journey through traditional therapy. While therapy provided meaningful support, there were deeper wounds that remained unresolved despite years of committed work.
In 2023, I was introduced to psychedelic-assisted therapy. My first session was profound — it felt equivalent to five years of therapy condensed into a single six-hour experience. During that journey, I was able to access and resolve traumas I once believed I would carry for the rest of my life.
Since then, I have continued to experience deeper healing, personal growth, and a renewed sense of purpose. Psychedelic-assisted therapy has been transformative for me.
For anyone who has faced similar struggles, I encourage you to explore this modality within a safe, therapeutic setting. I genuinely believe in its healing potential when approached with proper guidance and intention, and I hope others are able to find the same relief and peace that I have discovered."
— Sean · U.S. Army veteran, Operation Iraqi Freedom
